Jake's, just get a JK CRD or an older CJ.

I'd love to read your build Thread.

It'll be a good laugh...

I actually started a thread on "the other forum" and just got hammered by the Illuminati Brains Trust.

Actually a JK with a cooked VM Motori 2.8 did cross my mind.

I'll talk to Eben at some stage. He has a bunch of crap lying around.

No thread in the history of threads (and forums) will ever be as funny (and sad) as this one:

The Great Mad Manny drew up guidelines for hosting a successful GTG.

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=71

Most people, across many Forums,
follow this brilliant advice.

Those who dont, never pull a successful outing off...

But that event started with a thinly veiled reference to its real purpose:
"100 people at R1 000 ea"...

Much as I like (some) of you guys - there's no way I'm paying 1000 bucks just to see your ugly mugs!

Can see why it "failed".

Shane, most of us are like cockroaches. The moment you start those godlights, we scatter...

Duh! The last line read - "I can see why it failed.

Of course I know we won't be there

You totally missed the point.

I've been mulling over converting a TJ Wrangler to EV.
I see Jakes has made great progress...

The problem is that TJs with blown motors are scarce. And it is sort of blasphemy to take out a good running 4.0 I6 just for fun.
So use something else, like a Landy
SSII enabled tool
Sempiternis et fortes

The only Landy at the right price point now is a D1 V8. But I don't like the looks.

I had an alternative plan: a Series 3 88 inch body on a shortened D1 rolling chassis, but it seems everybody and their dog are now buying up old series bodies and either using them for restoration projects or are exporting the panels to the UK and USA.

Well, there seems to be a downside to EV

The spare parts problem...
