I've been mulling over converting a TJ Wrangler to EV.

I see Jakes has made great progress...

The problem is that TJs with blown motors are scarce. And it is sort of blasphemy to take out a good running 4.0 I6 just for fun.

The only Landy at the right price point now is a D1 V8. But I don't like the looks.

I had an alternative plan: a Series 3 88 inch body on a shortened D1 rolling chassis, but it seems everybody and their dog are now buying up old series bodies and either using them for restoration projects or are exporting the panels to the UK and USA.
