What's with the little bits of wood? I thought that was what the knife was for.
I made the sheath for the Khukri myself. The wooden dowls are snare triggers, carved with the inner curve of the khukri while sitting around a fire

I think that will be a good urban survival knife. But a Leatherman will be better?

Mike, ek het die mes gehad en dit was 'n aangename mes gewees. Alles het gewerk maar dit het nie useless tierlanteitjies gehad nie.

I used a Victorinox Champ (the one with lots of blades) for many years, all of the blades got used regularly. The only thing wrong was the pliers were rather pathetic. I now have a Leatherman juice XE6 (The only leatherman with a corkscrew). All of the blades get used on that regularly too.

I would much rather have a decent multi-tool than a big blade, when it comes to "survival".

The best survival knife is the one you have on you when you need a knife to survive. Its that simple.

Some pointers: 1. Carbon Steel not Stainless; 2. If a fixed blade, it has to have a full tang

I would think thousands of copies have been made, it is a cult knife after all!
The two most recognizable knifes must be Bowie and Rambo style knifes?
